We remind you all that Swiss National Day London is today , Sunday 23 July 2023 at the the German School in Richmond.

We wish everyone in the Swiss Community in London and across the United Kingdom a very Happy Swiss National Day UK. For those of you who have been  lucky enough to get hold of tickets for the celebrations in Richmond we wish you a very happy time with your friends and family.

Last year 2022 marked the start of a new era. Andreas Feller and his Swiss National Day London team organised a truly memorable day. Holding the event in Richmond enabled more of the Swiss Community to attend. Previous celebrations had a limited capacity of 130 at the Swiss Church London in Endell Street. Richmond enables 500 people to be present at any one time, and has both indoor and outdoor space.

All of us at the Swiss Church London look back fondly on the Swiss National Day celebrations in the Church. They involved many months of careful preparations. At the end of evening we were always exhausted, but elated too.

We are still involved but in a different way. Yesterday afternoon a loyal, dedicated team made a large amount of potato salad, key ingredient for a successful Swiss celebration. Also the Swiss Church London has financially sponsored the children’s activities this afternoon. We thank the anonymous generous contribution of members of our congregation and friends, who made this sponsorship possible.
