The Swiss Church needs more volunteers to help with our Tuesday Breakfast on the Steps outreach programme.  Could you help?

Each Tuesday our Community Worker Josh Kelly and a small team of dedicated volunteers provide breakfast to the homeless and vulnerable in Covent Garden.  We need more volunteers. Contact Josh by email  josh.kelly@swisschurchlondon.org.uk or phone the office on 020 7836 1418 for further details

Where:                 The Swiss Church in London WC2H

When:                  Weekly on Tuesday Mornings

Starting:               Between 7am and 7.45am as best suits the volunteer

Finishing:             Between 9.30am and 11am as best suits the volunteer

Tasks:                    Setting up tables and chairs, serving food, clearing plates, washing up

Support:              Full training and support will be given.

Breakfast on the Steps is an important part of the week at the Swiss Church. It is a time when we serve our community and welcome people into the church by serving food and offering fellowship. We make an effort to be present and spend time with the people who come along. It is always a joy to see the variety of people who come to join our community activities.

Breakfast is free and available to anyone. It is served each Tuesday from 8:00 am to 10:00am

We gratefully accept donations of winter footwear and warm clothing, to pass onto our guests when they need them.
