6 October at 11:00am- Sunday Service with Communion And Baptism
Arts and Culture – Friday, September 27th, 2019Our next Sunday Service is on Sunday 6 October at 11:00 am. It will include Communion and there will be a baptism too.
The service will be led by our Minister Revd Carla Maurer who will take the symbol of the tree as the theme for her sermon…
Die Weisheit ist ein Baum des Lebens denen, die sie ergreifen, und wer sie festhält, ist glücklich zu preisen.
La sagesse est un arbre de vie pour ceux qui la saisissent, et ceux qui la possèdent sont heureux.
Wisdom is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called happy. (Proverbs 3:18)
The bible readings will be Psalm 1 vv.1 to 3, the parable of the sower from Mark 4 vv. 1-9, and two eagles and the vine from Ezekiel 17 vv3-10.
In the absence of our Director of Music the organ will be played by Luke Saint.
The hymns will be in German, English and French and the Communion liturgy will also be in all three languages. At Swiss Church all those who wish to do so may take Communion.
We look forward to seeing you all and extend a special welcome to the baptism party, their family and friends.
