Swiss Family Christmas ┃1 December 12.30pm

General News – Thursday, November 14th, 2024

Dear Swiss families, Dear friends,

It’s the time of year again!

Samichlaus will visit the Swiss Church and we will make our own Räbeliechtli (turnip lanterns) to parade through Covent Garden. It’s a great opportunity for Swiss families in London (and beyond) to come together and cherish our Swiss traditions.

Join us on
Sunday, 1 December 2024, at 12.30 pm
at the Swiss Church in London (79 Endell Street, WC2H 9DY)

There will be a carol singalong around the piano, the reading of the Christmas story in Swiss German and English, food and drinks and a Santa grotto.

There are limited spaces available, and they are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. If you would like to join us, please email us at info@swisschurchlondon.org.uk and we will confirm your place. Based on the success of this event in previous years we suggest responding as early as you can to avoid disappointment!

This event relies on volunteers so if you would like to help with any of the organising, please let us know using the above email address.

The event is free. However, we do ask for voluntary donations, either by way of cash or card (in advance or on the day) or by bringing a cake for the buffet and/or some craft materials and games for the children.

We hope to see many of you there!

Best wishes,
Manuel, Therese, Rachael and the Swiss Church team
