Traditionally the Swiss in London celebrate the Swiss National Day not on the official date of 1 August, but 2 weeks earlier as so many return to Switzerland on the actual day, and also to start summer holidays.
The newly appointed minister of the Swiss Church London, Carla Maurer, originally from St Gallen, is more than a visitor to the celebration, joining in with the community activities and an own stand as other Swiss clubs and societies.
