In Memoriam Edwin Fischer who died 50 years ago

Patrizio Mazzola, winner of the coveted Edwin Fischer Memorial Prize, will give a piano recital including some of Edwin Fischer’s best loved pieces as well as one of Fischer’s own compositions.

Jazz Evening with Marc Hunziker

The virtuoso Swiss pianist will carry the audience into the rich and dazzling world of jazz, performing pieces by Oscar Peterson, Friedrich Gulda and Nikolai Kapustin. He will be joined by the exciting young British jazz singer Jessica Berry in some of best loved songs from the Great American Songbook.

This Swiss-Japanese group explores new sounds in the fi elds of classical and popular music.  With their unique instrumentation of two marimbas and a soprano voice, they will present newly written music in an animated lighter vein.
